LFM Modelling Tips

MODELLING TIPS

Modelling is not as easy as it seems, and anyone who says that models have it easy has obviously never modelled! Don’t let this worry you, www.londonfashionmodels.net has some great modelling tips & tricks to help you through your photo shoots.

www.londonfashionmodels.net Modelling Tip 1:
You must relax; tensing up will make your poses look stiff. Breathing exercises may seem silly but they’re a great way to relax the body.

www.londonfashionmodels.net Modelling Tip 2:
If you feel like your body is too tense, shake it off! You may feel silly shaking your arms and legs about but it’s another great way to relax your body and make you more ‘fluid’.

www.londonfashionmodels.net Modelling Tip 3:
Do  not pout; more often than not it’s not a good look so why risk it in the first place.

www.londonfashionmodels.net Modelling Tip 4:
Match your facial expressions to what you’re wearing, don’t wear a serious look in casual wear.

www.londonfashionmodels.net Modelling Tip 5:
Your imagination is a powerful tool; if it helps to picture yourself lounging on a beach for casual wear then do it!

www.londonfashionmodels.net Modelling Tip 6:
Listen to the photographers, stylists and hair & make-up artists this early on in your career, anything they have to say you should value more than gold.

www.londonfashionmodels.net Modelling Tip 7:
Be confident, this is easier said than done but if you can master your confidence it shines through in your photos. There are tonnes of confidence tricks online, see if you can find one that suits you.

  1. I uploaded my picture online on Capital …

I uploaded my picture online on Capital Models because of an ad I had seen on Saturday 17th of June as a spur of the moment thing to see if anything happened or came of it. Following Monday, Harvey Micheals from London Fashion Models calls me to tell me they liked my photo and that they want me to come down to London for a pre-assessment photo shoot that they will pay for all I need to do is pay a £50 deposit to ensure that if booked l would definitely turn up. I thought this all seemed legit. After I got off the phone I googled London Fashion Models and a very authentic looking website appeared which I quickly browsed I then called up and booked the appointment.

I was then sent me an email which was from LFM. In the email it contained a website londonfashionstudio.net I went on the website and again it all seems legit, saying that the building is in Oxford Circus area. I called to cancel my appointment well in advance because of work commitments to which I was told I would have my money in 5 days, every time I speak to the company they keep on spinning me around and still have not returned my funds I logged onto my online banking to see that the company had taken money out of my account for the deposit using the name ‘Teseract Limited’ which is registered as a computer maintenance I became suspicious and after some digging I have come across this website exposing this type of scam it is just a way for them to get your money and genuine modelling companies do not ask you to pay for a deposit or portfolios.

Beware of the name 'London Fashion Models; ‘On Vogue’ and ‘Bespoke Models’ and the number
